The University of Washington Libraries' Digital Collections has a wealth of images, full-text and audio/video resources. The site is divided into collections which are searchable and browsable by topics. You can also run a global search across all the collections to find everything about, say, chinook indians. The full text is easy to navigate and much of it is origional source material. Very neat indeed!
