I'm sure these people think they are some sort of clever performance art group. As far as I'm concerned, they're just a couple of disruptive patrons.
A while back, the Portland Oregonian published an article about Baltimore in their travel section. This weekend, the Baltimore Sun returned the favor.

While I was at the NLM attending this class, I was able to see their excellent display: Dream Anatomy. This is my favorite illustration. I also got to go to my favorite DC bar, the Asylum.

The Library of Vanished Sounds is an interesting collection of sounds we no longer hear in our day-to-day life. It is German with English translations. In interesting artifact of this is realizing that apparently the German word for slot-machine is "One-Armed-Bandit"

Yes this is mean spirited, but haven't we all thought it at one time or another "Is she pregnant or just fat?"
I'm not sure why this makes me so happy, but it does. Positive mental attitude does not affect cancer survival.

I'm back, I was out of town, then I got sick, go figure. Anyway, last night I watched 1940's House. Not nearly as good as Frontier House or even 1900 House. I wonder which American Girl they will choose next?
