The International Shark Attack File has exactly what you'd expect, information on all reported unprovoked shark attacks all over the world. Multiple maps drive home the fact that there are very few shark attacks inland. Also of interest is The Relative Risk of Shark Attacks to Humans as compared to such things and lightening attacks, injury by screwdriver or bat bites.

The University of Washington Libraries' Digital Collections has a wealth of images, full-text and audio/video resources. The site is divided into collections which are searchable and browsable by topics. You can also run a global search across all the collections to find everything about, say, chinook indians. The full text is easy to navigate and much of it is origional source material. Very neat indeed!
